Prof. Fengxiang Wang (IET Fellow) received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at the Institute for Electrical Drive Systems and Power Electronics, Technische Universitaet Muenchen, Munich, Germany. Currently, he is a full professor, doctoral supervisor, and director at the Quanzhou Institute of Equipment Manufacturing, Haixi Institutes, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has authored more than 150 technical papers and 50 patents. His current major research interests include predictive control and sensorless control for electrical drives and power electronics. He is the recipient of the National High-Level Young Talent Support Programs. He serves as an IEEE senior member, IET Fellow, and associate editor for IEEE TIE and IEEE TEC. As General Chair, he organized the IEEE 5th International Symposium on Predictive Control of Electrical Drives and Power Electronics (PRECEDE).
